Today I am thankful for yard sales and a husband that will stand in the driveway to sell all our unwanted stuff. I will help get things ready and help clean up but I don't like being in the middle of all of it. Today's yard sale was mostly the girls stuff. We recently purged their rooms of toys and things they were not playing with anymore. The girls were told that they could keep half of the money made from the sale for themselves and the other half they could donate. Our church is building a new church and the girls decided to donate the money to the building fund. We have always tried to shelter the girls from the "darker side" of life but they are getting older and they need to understand about charity and giving to those that do not have what they have.
